250,000 Iraqis died when Saddam started a war with Iran.
Saddam himself killed industrial numbers of Iraqis; around 1 million from a then population of 20m.
If anyone thinks Desert Storm was wrong, Saddam was committing genocide both on his own people and the Kurds. In Halabja alone, Saddam killed 5000 with mustard gas; a truly horrific mass murder.
The huge error with Desert Storm; as with Afghanistan, was to leave the country under the rule of Iran-ruZZia-controlled savages.
