Living Odesa: a new Radisson in the heart of the city

Odesa always begins with a feeling. Sometimes with morning coffee on Deribasovskaya. Sometimes with the noise of plane trees in the City Garden or the evening light near the Opera House. And sometimes with a brief thought: “I haven’t been here for a long time.” In the spring of 2026, the city again welcomes guests in its restrained, lively, slightly tired, but still beautiful rhythm.

This spring, on May 15, 2026, the renovated  Radisson Hotel City Centre Odesa will open in the center of Odessa  – an international brand hotel that is returning to full operation after several difficult years for the city and the entire country. And there is much more to this opening than just a new hotel on the tourist map.

Living Odesa: a new Radisson in the heart of the city

After the start of the full-scale war, Odesa, like all of Ukraine, changed. The city learned to live in a different reality – with air raids, complex logistics, pauses in the usual rhythm of life. But at the same time, Odesa has not lost itself. Here, establishments are still opening, theaters are operating, meetings are held, people come on business, on short trips to see the sea or simply to stay in a city that cannot be confused with any other.

Radisson Hotel City Centre Odesa  is located at Deribasovskaya, 23, literally a few minutes walk from the places from which most people begin their acquaintance with Odessa. Nearby – the City Garden, the Opera House, the Potemkin Stairs, Primorsky Boulevard. There is no need to build a complicated route here: the city itself leads you through its streets.

The hotel itself is 90 rooms in a modern Scandinavian style. Light colors, laconic design, space without overloading with details – everything works to create a feeling of peace and comfort. In the center of the hotel there is a cozy courtyard-restaurant, which is a special contrast to the noisy Deribasovskaya outside. This is the format of a city hotel where it is easy to switch from a business meeting to a slow evening with a glass of wine or morning coffee.

A special emphasis on the business audience. The hotel has two conference rooms for 30 and 85 guests, so the space is suitable not only for tourist trips, but also for small conferences, business meetings and corporate events. At the same time, due to the location and atmosphere, the Radisson is suitable for a short city break or a trip for two.

The hotel is managed by  Maestro Hotel Management,  a Ukrainian management company that works with premium, lifestyle and business hotels. The team’s portfolio includes M1 Club Hotel, Villa Le Premier, Il Decameron Luxury Design Hotel, Alexandrovskiy Hotel, Wall Street Hotel, LEV Lifestyle Hotel and other hospitality projects. This is Maestro’s second international brand under management.

But in the story with Radisson, something else is more important: the service is provided by people who understand not only international standards, but also Odessa itself, its seasonality, guests, rhythm and mood. This is what is becoming the main value of the hospitality market today: not just a beautiful interior or a brand on the facade, but the ability to create a sense of normality and care even in difficult times.

“Odessa is a city that cannot be stopped. It changes, is silent, sometimes freezes, but always comes back to life. For us, this hotel is a space where people can once again feel Odessa: its light, its rhythm, its proximity to the sea and to themselves. We are creating not just a place to stop, but a point of return to the city ,” said CEO Maestro Hotel Management Eduard Rezhinsky.

The international network Radisson Hotel Group operates in more than 100 countries around the world, and its philosophy “Every Moment Matters” sounds especially accurate for Ukraine today. Because travel, meetings, weekends by the sea or just a few days in another city have long ceased to be something ordinary. Now it is a way to support yourself, change the rhythm, remind yourself that life goes on.

Today, Odesa is not about the carefreeness from postcards of yesteryear. It has become deeper, quieter, more attentive to details. But that is precisely why many people are discovering it for themselves anew.

And perhaps now is the best time to see this city for what it really is.
