Gaining the ability to engage enemy targets at long range is one of Ukraine’s priorities.
Following Denmark’s example, Lithuania is investing 10 million euros in the production of the Ukrainian Palyanitsa drone rocket.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the corresponding mechanism for direct financing of production was discussed by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for European Integration, Serhiy Boev, and his Lithuanian counterpart, Monika Koroliene.
“Acquiring the ability to defeat enemy targets at long range is one of Ukraine’s priorities. We encourage partners to invest in our own production of long-range weapons. Investments following the example of the “Danish model” will work much faster, and the enemy will soon see the consequences,” Boev noted.
He thanked Lithuania for its leadership in the Mine Action Coalition and participation in the Drone Coalition. Korolovienė stressed that Vilnius remains a committed partner of Kyiv and wants to provide effective assistance.
“Investments must work, so we are looking for the most practical use for them,” says Lithuania’s Deputy Minister of National Defence.
As noted, the Minister of Defense of Lithuania Laurynas Kaššunas is expected to arrive in Ukraine in the near future.

I think these new “bread” missiles will be important weapons in the future.
Indeed, and hopefully in the very near future.
