Leader of the Pskov branch of Yabloko, Lev Shlosberg, has been removed from the State Duma elections in the Khovrinsky single-mandate constituency in Moscow. As the politician wrote in his Telegram channel, the decision to cancel his registration was made by the Moscow City Court at the suit of Andrei Pangaev, who is running in the same district from the Green Party.

“The decision [to withdraw from the election – approx. I consider Meduza] illegal and unfounded, essentially illegal, ”wrote Schlossberg, adding that he had already appealed against the withdrawal from the elections.

On August 3, Schlosberg was removed from the elections to the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies. According to the politician, this decision was made due to his alleged involvement in the activities of  the Anti-Corruption Foundation. ” On August 4, it was reported that the election commission of the Pskov region restored Schlossberg’s registration as a candidate for deputy to the local legislature.
