It brings back a memory of seeing the Kuban Cossack Choir performing in Ukraine. They were very popular and frequent visitors. They are after all Ukrainians of course.
But like other major performers they will never again appear in Ukraine.
Another big name in Ukraine was Nikolai Baskov, the tenor. He used to sing many of the big Ukrainian songs like Pidmanula and was loved.
Imagine the horror of Ukrainians when after years of making a very good living performing there, he turned out to be a degenerate Z man; a blatant foul propagandist. Bastard!
