Russians dropped 10,000 – TEN THOUSAND – guided bombs on Ukraine since the beginning of 2024 alone.

The only way to stop this is to shoot down the aircraft carrying the bombs. But they don’t cross the UA-RU border and launch everything from the Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions.

Ukraine is not allowed to hit military targets on RU territory with Western weapons.

Let this sink in. And #LetUkraineStrikeBack.

The only American reporting every day from Ukraine until Victory / on Chicago’s WGN Radio. UkrainianFreedomNews.com: Truth to the World. Supplies to Ukraine.

The US-made ATACMs (“Attack-ems”) work incredibly well: Ukrainians have use them to hit Russian military targets on occupied Ukrainian soil. But Washington, which worked to de-arm Ukraine over decades, refuses to let Ukrainians use these powerful, game-changing weapons to hit Russian rocket launch points on Russian soil. As a result, Russians can calmly watch attack-launches from their cars while Ukrainians burn and die.

🚀 Luhansk airfield after #Ukraine strike with ATACMS
Looks like Mordor🔥

✈️ Footage reportedly showing the fiery aftermath of last night’s Ukrainian ATACMS strike on Luhansk Airfield. The airfield is occupied and used by the russian #military to launch strikes.

You can see what looks like an airplane wing at the start 👀

There are also large fires likely from aviation fuel storages igniting and burning. At least one major brush fire was ignited after the attack.

🛰️ Geostationary FIRMS #data shows at least one major fire just north of the airfield last night.

🎤 I can already imagine the headlines:
“Russian airbase successfully intercepts multiple cluster munitions using aircraft, all destroyed, great success!” – Russian media

“Brothers morale not so good…”

  • Russian Telegram

“Oh lord don’t make me say it AGAIN!”

  • Fighterbomber

“Love is a burning thing,
And it makes a fiery ring…”

  1. Since the ability to strike back depends not only on the permission to hit targets in Russia, but also on the availability of suitable weapons, I’m flabbergasted about the US making a lot of self conratulatory brouhaha about an arms packages worth about 300 million dollars. Look at this for comparison:
“Spain allocated a billion-dollar military aid package to Ukraine”
    https://mil.in.ua/en/news/spain-allocated-a-billion-dollar-military-aid-package-to-ukraine/
One billion from Spain, not an especially rich country, but the US think 300 millions are enough, after a long break of like six months? What’s going on there in Biden’s head, is he really thinking that small, or does he want to limit Ukraine’s combat strength, so that Putin doesn’t get into trouble? Considering that he also stubbornly rejects request to use ATACMS against targets in Russia, the often raised doubts if he really wants to win this war are well reasoned. ‘Too little, too late, too limited’ certainly isn’t a strategy for victory! 😠

        • Socialists believe in gradual nationalization of big business, redistribution of wealth and cradle-to-grave welfare. All funded by massive tax and spend policies.
Which is unfortunately what the UK is about to be inflicted with, barring a miracle.
Biden does have full blooded socialists in his party, but I don’t know if they are the majority or not.
The British Labour Party contains all socialists. The public is about to learn the hard way that there is no such thing as a “moderate socialist.”

          • Keir Starmer is as much a Socialist as Tony Blair, Scradge. That means, not at all! I don’t know where your paranoia about socialists behind every corner comes from, but it’s rather ridiculous to paint the centrist establishment politicians Starmer and Biden as dangerous commies. Both are from the right wings of their parties.

            • I made it clear that Biden isn’t a socialist in my comment.

Blair is and remains a socialist: he gets it from his very greedy Marxist wife; the greed too. Even their son Ewan is obscenely rich; £350 million according to the Sunday Times.
As for Starmer, he’s always been on the far left of his party. He endorsed JeremIRA CorbLenin for God’s sake.
Yesterday he made an announcement in all the papers. It was :
              “I am a socialist.”

          • I remember I once (long time ago) had a heated discussion at the blog of effing Jonah Goldberg, author of “Liberal Fascism”, about the question if there’s anything leftwing in “national socialism”. A hellhole of rightwing trolls that can’t be taken for serious. 🙄

    • Grateful for the aid coming from Spain, but while this mention is the biggest I think they’ve given to date, not sure what relation that is to their capacity. Now that U.S. has funding again for the main route being used to support Ukraine the 300 million was just the latest in several packages that were put in motion. But yes we can and must do way more.

    • “Look at this for comparison”

Looking closely, I see “The orders are scheduled to be completed in two years with the possibility of extension for a third year.”

I’m not sure what you’re referring to by “arms packages worth about 300 million dollars” – a search for 300 million points me at an arms package announced in March (when MAGAt Republicans were still blocking aid), which was paid for by cost savings from contracts the Pentagon brokered to replace previous weapons donations.

I see a new $400 million package of military aid for Ukraine announced earlier this month. That was the third tranche of aid for Ukraine since Congress passed supplemental funding in late April – as Bill wrote, this is an ongoing process. Recall that about $61 billion in aid for Ukraine was allocated. That doesn’t show up at once as one big package. Plus, not everything needs to be announced – recall that there were articles posted here about evidence that new longer-range missiles were being used by Ukraine, even there had not been an announcement that they were being provided. Sometimes it’s nice to be surprised. 🙂

(Browsing recent articles on this site, I see that a $275 million package was announced on May 24 – I guess you were referring to that and rounding up. So, that would be the 4th aid package announced in the past month or so.)

      • As a Bernie Sanders fan, a pragmatic progressive (but no pacifist!), I don’t really have much interest in your pro-establishment defence of cowardly Joe Biden and his meager support for Ukraine, Larry. With packages in the range of a few hundred million dollars, he’ll never spend 61 billions, that’s impossible. So, please, and I say this with honest sympathy for a centrist democrat and fellow supporter of Ukraine, please annoy someone else with your brouhaha. 🤨

    • Mr. Gray, to understand at least a little about Biden’s spineless character, remember that he is a draft dodger. He has no inkling about military matters, but plenty about hiding from his duties.

      • Good point, my friend. Hell, I had been a slim kid not good at sports or schollyard fights, but I didn’t dodge the draft, but volunteered for an extended tour of duty. And I would do that again, despite having been rather disappointed about military service in the Bundeswehr (not enough combat training, I felt utterly unprepared for war). So, not much respect for effing Biden, who evaded serving his country likeca weasel. 🙄

          • Oh, ’twas nothing special, Mr. Facts. The majority of guys in my graduation year did serve in the Bundeswehr afterwards, with the notable exception of our spirts star, who came up with a ridiculous testimony by his doctor that declared him unfit. I did think that was pathetic. He did have the option to be honest and to do civil service instead, after all. 🙄

            • “He did have the option to be honest and to do civil service instead, after all.”

Back then, didn’t that mean wiping the asses of old people? 😂😂😂 I’d prefer the military to that every time!

              • Yeah, well, ok, I may have made that civil service look more attractive than it actually was, RSM. Guilty! 👋😁
