Germany’s KNDS Deutschland, a manufacturer of Leopard 2 tanks, has officially launched a joint venture with a Ukrainian defence company.

Quote from Smetanin: “I am pleased to announce the official launch of a joint venture between KMW (KNDS Deutschland) and one of Ukraine’s defence companies”.
Details: The newly established company will specialise in the maintenance and repair of military equipment supplied by the German company to the Ukrainian defence forces. The first samples of this equipment appeared in Ukraine in 2022.
Quote from Smetanin: “Ukrainian specialists have already undergone training in Germany, and the first systems have already been installed at the facilities.”
Details: Smetanin added that the defence forces’ equipment will now be repaired faster. The joint venture will also “provide significant economic support through investments and job creation”.
Background: German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall plans to build at least four factories in Ukraine to produce ammunition, military vehicles, gunpowder and air defence systems.

It’s not only Rheinmetall that is/will be building factories in Ukraine. When you think depressingly about a Ukrainian defeat, think about these companies. They know something the average person doesn’t, otherwise they’d never waste capital for a lost cause.
For the foreseeable future, Ukraine has to become a fortress. It’s military-industrial complex HAS to grow exponentially just in order to survive.
Another reason why there can be no gifting of land to vermin or freezing of the lines is that once done it can never be recovered.
Some way somehow Ukraine has to find the strength to fight on until its land, its mineral resources and ALL its people are forever free from ruZZian scum controlling their lives.
But ultimately only Ukrainians can decide.
Trumpkov’s decision to hold off for another 6 months is only good for putler unless that $300 billion can be sent immediately to Ukraine.
Too bad all the partnerships didn’t occur in 2014.
