Quote: “We have a feeling that there could once again be a change in approach [by the US towards the war in Ukraine], as happened after the meeting in Anchorage, where mutual understanding was reached.
President Trump has just said that he is ready to become involved again in efforts to facilitate a settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. We are ready for that.”
Details: Lavrov added that Moscow is committed to “the position and the settlement paths proposed by the American side at the Anchorage summit”.
Background:
- On 18 June, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, claimed that European leaders at the G7 summit in France “fed” US President Donald Trump with “harmful ideas”.
- Following the G7 summit, Trump said that he had had “very good talks” with both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stating that both leaders want to end the war but do not know how.
- On 5 March, Lavrov said that the atmosphere of US-Russia talks after the leaders’ meeting in Alaska had been constructive and friendly, but that the “spirit of Anchorage” was now “evaporating”.
- Trump and Putin met on 15 August 2025 at a military base near Anchorage, Alaska.
- The meeting ended without any publicly announced agreements.

“Moscow is committed to the position and the settlement paths proposed by the American side” – the only ptoblem Mr. Horseface is the people you are at war with are not the Americans. Why not try to focus on your opponents proposals (they have some nice barley and apples for you), because the US is out of the equation until 1. Ether the midterms or 2. When the dems win in 28.
> Russia is committed to the “understandings” reached in Anchorage.
Russia is committed to the terms that putler dictated to trumpkov.
> mutual understanding was reached.
With no involvement by Ukraine.
> both leaders want to end the war but do not know how.
Easy – all putler has to do is pull his troops out of Ukraine.
It’s not that he doesn’t know how. It’s that he’s unwilling to do so.
Next on the agenda – another call between putler and trumpkov, in which putler reminds trumpkov who’s pulling the strings.
Xi? 😁
I have a “feeling” that Lavrov needs a bayonet up his ass.
But whether that will be at last acted upon remains to be seen.
Btw, someone said the ugly motherfucker “should go back to Tbilisi.”
He’s got no Georgian blood : his mother was a Moskal and his father a ruZZianised Armenian.
He needs to burn along with putler, Medvedev, Piss-Cough, Zakharova, Solovyov etc.
Rubio stated that the US can’t be mediators in this war. The panic is already showing in the kremlin. They want Witless back in moscow to fill his brain full of BS again.
What feelings does an old nag have, besides hunger, thirst, and the need to rip a long, voluminous fart?
