Lavrov already made an inappropriate anti-Semitic statement in 2022.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made an inappropriate anti-Semitic statement about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In response, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on Israel to condemn these words. This was reported by Foreign Ministry spokesman  Georgy Tikhyi on his page on the social network X.

“Zelensky is a pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people,” Lavrov said.

Tikhiy noted that such statements are unacceptable. He emphasized that the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry should be accused of anti-Semitism.

“We call on Israel and Jewish organizations around the world to condemn Lavrov’s repeated and outrageous lies,” Tikhiy wrote.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman recalled that in 2022, Lavrov said that “Hitler had Jewish blood,” after which he declared that “Jews are the most ardent anti-Semites.”
