LAURA LOOMER in KYIV: “I said terrible things about UKRAINE and Zelenskyy — And I was wrong”

Jul 25, 2026

Laura Loomer is one of the most influential conservative journalists and commentators in the US, whose reporting and social media posts have repeatedly shaped America’s political agenda. She arrived in Ukraine for the first time to see the war with her own eyes. In this interview, Loomer explains for the first time why she criticized Ukraine for years, why she now believes she was influenced by Russian propaganda, and publicly apologizes to the Ukrainian people. During the conversation, an unexpected surprise awaited her: newly discovered archival documents revealed her family’s history and Ukrainian roots for the very first time.

  1. I still wouldn’t trust her as far as I could throw her. She could change her tune and say that Kyiv is full of goose stepping nazis, if the price was right.
