Last year, the Land Forces received 27 units of air defense systems

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published a report on the restoration of air defense equipment (AIR) for the Land Forces.

In total, UAH 11.812 billion was allocated for the restoration of armaments and military equipment (WEU) in 2019–2020.

Part of the funds went to the restoration of air defense equipment (AIR) of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces.

Thus, in 2020, 27 units of restored air defense equipment were transferred to the Land Forces.

Armed with air defense equipment, the Land Forces have the Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, the Tunguska anti-aircraft missile system and the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system.

In 2020, it became known that the modernized SAM “Arrow-10” should receive a Ukrainian guided missile R-10-OF – anti-aircraft version of the RK-10.

The R-10-OF anti-aircraft guided missile (RMC) is to replace the basic 9M37 RCM , which is armed with the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system.

Combat vehicles SAM “Arrow-10” have an optical viewfinder with two channels with variable field of view and magnification, on the upgraded model, the optical viewfinder will be replaced by an optoelectronic station (OES), which will significantly improve the characteristics of target detection and tracking.
