The Ukrainian P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor drone, manufactured by SkyFall, has destroyed a Russian Geran-5 small-sized cruise missile for the second time.
This was reported by SkyFall to Militarnyi.
The target was struck by drone operators from Lasar’s Group of the Ukrainian National Guard.
What made this interception unique was that the JetKiller drone approached the target on a head-on, cross-course path rather than chasing the Geran-5 from behind.
During the mission, the crew also used a remote control system developed by SkyFall, which allows the operator to control the interceptor via the internet.
This reduces risks for the crew, as military personnel can control the P1-SUN from a safe location anywhere in the world.

In July 2026, the Ukrainian company SkyFall unveiled a new variant of the P1-SUN JetKiller interceptor drone, designed to combat jet-powered drones.

The interceptor can reach speeds of up to 370 km/h, has a flight range of up to 30 km, can operate at altitudes of up to 9,000 m, remain airborne for up to 15 minutes, and is equipped with a 500-gram warhead.
The P1-SUN JetKiller is available in several configurations: with a day or night analog or digital camera, as well as in a version with an artificial intelligence module for automatic target detection, tracking, and capture.
The AI-based terminal guidance system, developed by the SkyFall R&D team, enables the interceptor to detect and engage enemy targets at ranges of up to 1 km faster than a human can react.
The AI module automatically detects, tracks, and locks onto targets, allowing the operator to act faster and with greater precision even in challenging combat conditions.
“The P1-SUN JetKiller is part of SkyFall’s strategic initiative to create a new generation of fully autonomous unmanned systems. The company is developing a unified ecosystem in which SkyFall drones will be able to exchange data and independently detect, identify, and engage targets,” the company told Militarnyi at the time.
