Kyivans self-quarantine as capital’s restaurants shut down

On March 17, all restaurants, night clubs, gyms, beauty salons and shopping malls have been shut down in Kyiv.

The decision further extends restrictions that Ukraine imposed earlier to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading by shuttering all educational institutions and banning mass events until April 3.

The same measures have recently been established in other Ukrainian cities, including Zaporizhia, Lviv, Odesa and Ivano-Frankivsk.

    • Both communist dictatorships in China and Moskovia are blaming either the UK or the US for the virus. It shows their contempt for freedom, prosperity and truth. They have to blame someone else for their bad management and hope their sheep believe it.

  1. I also heard there is a ban on foreigners entering the country. This is also until the third of April. I’m to arrive in Kiev very early in the morning of the fourth! That’s cutting it close, ain’t it?

    • So far they’ve kept infection levels under control. If they have shut everything down in time, you could be in for a nice trouble-free visit!
