The big news of the day is a Russian reinforcement convoy near Rylsk, Kursk was destroyed. Ukraine’s push continues north, the area around Lgov is evacuated.
Lgov is around 25km from the Kursk NPP, so if the “ordinary” russians are fleeing, the Ukrainians must be very close. It is a different picture than the one Gerasimov paints.
Gerasimov can’t paint the truth for putler, he will get involuntary flying lessons. But he knows Zelensky has painted a road from Kursk straight north to Moscow. Very similar to what Prighozin had planned. Question is, how far do we have to go before putler pulls his criminals home? Punishment is coming.

1) Find a weak point.
2) Use good OPSEC and countermeasures to concentrate forces in the area undetected.
3) Open a massive attack that quickly overwhelms the defense.
4) Rapidly drive into the enemy’s rear to disrupt logistics and and sow confusion. This allows Ukraine to catch the Russians reinforcements on the road march and destroy them easily.
5) Exploit the success by pouring reinforcements into the breach. Puhing deep into Russia has it’s merrits but widening the front is just as important. the flanking columns north ans south of the breach can push behind the first two defense lines and force the Russians to withdraw from the boarder and increase the scale of the panic.
This is what it has all been about.

And yes the heartbreaking setbacks and the soul crushing defeats.
Hard lessons have been learned. Sometimes at beitter cost.

Now Ukraine has the weapons and more importantly the people to really bring the war home to the enemy. To show them victory is as far away as it was two and half years ago.
