That night, fighting broke out on the border with the Kursk region. The Russian authorities in this region announced the attack by drones, and also wrote that
Ukrainian military equipment had broken through in the areas of Kurylivka and Goncharivka settlements, and the Suja district center had come under fire.
Residents of Kursk also woke up to the explosions. In the morning, they could not get to work because of anxiety and lack of transport. Some residents leave their homes because of military operations.

Explosions, destroyed roofs, military equipment
The border with the Kursk region is restless. At approximately three o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, August 6, messages about the missile threat began to appear in Kursk newspapers, then they began to write about explosions in the district town of Suja and its surroundings. A missile threat was also announced in the Glushkiv district and Kursk itself.
Local authorities claimed that Ukrainian drones had been successfully shot down, but residents of Suji wrote about rocket explosions and in the morning began to publish videos of the consequences of Russian air defense. The windows in the houses on one of the streets were broken, the roof and facade of the house were destroyed.

Later, it was reported that an artillery firefight was taking place. The local governor said that a group of the Armed Forces and tanks allegedly broke into the territory of the Kursk region, but the attack was repulsed. And also informed about allegedly 26 downed drones. Residents of Kursk reported that debris from downed UAVs had been discovered in the city.
At the same time, Russian military Telegram channels reported that fighting was taking place in the area of the villages of Kurylivka and Goncharivka, and that Ukrainian equipment had allegedly broken through there. Already in the afternoon, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation admitted that there were indeed battles with the Armed Forces of the Kursk region, and reserves were deployed there. In the video, local residents showed that fighter jets were flying at high speed directly above their heads, and a truck was on fire on the highway.

There are no buses, taxi drivers have raised their prices
Early in the morning, residents of Kursk began to be outraged that public transport was not running during the missile threat, and hundreds of residents gathered at the bus stops to get to work. Otherwise, the superiors will credit them with absenteeism or deprive them of bonuses.
“At each stop there are at least 200 people, there is no shelter, but even if there was, so many people would not fit there. The question to the authorities: what, you deliberately gather so many people in one place, stopping all transport?” – writes Svitlana Oleksandrivna, a resident of Kursk.
Firstly, the Russians scolded local taxi drivers, who, in their opinion, took advantage of the situation and raised the prices for trips. So, for example, for 13 minutes on the road, the taxi demanded to be paid 502 rubles. (250 UAH).

“For whom is war, and for whom is a mother. Our taxi drivers will not miss an opportunity to make extra money,” wrote Tetyana, a chicken girl.
“Shame on taxi drivers!” – users of the “Typical Kursk” Telegram channel responded.
“That’s how people go to work now. I dreamed of war all night, I woke up to a missile threat – a siren. And in Suja, people didn’t close their eyes during the night. But! Go to work,” writes Nataliya Dorokhova.
“I woke up at 2 a.m., when the siren was blaring, and the dream was taken away like a hand. I have a headache, pressure, my heart is pounding, a panic attack from all these explosions. It’s all on me,” Vasylyna Lozovska supports.

One doctor was indignant that he was supposed to perform an operation in the morning, and he has been standing at the bus stop for an hour, but there is no bus, and it is not known when he will get to the operating room. To which the doctor’s compatriots said that he could also get there by taxi, although it would be much more expensive.
Some people wrote that it is necessary to check the roofs of the houses, because Ukrainian “Baba-Yaga” drones were recently spotted, they flew in, but they were not shot down, perhaps they are lurking on the roofs and work as beacons.
Telegram channel “Tryvozhny Kursk” stated in general that the situation remains extremely difficult, as Ukrainians are entrenched in the border area. Therefore, you should be alert and stock up on water and food.

People leave the border area
When the residents of Kursk finally waited for transport and got to work, they began to discuss how to live on. The women wrote that this was not the first shelling of the region. True, the Russians blame the Armed Forces of Ukraine for everything, forgetting that it was the Russian Federation that attacked Ukraine and that the shelling is being conducted from both sides.
“September 1 is almost here, and we have to decide how the children will go to school? Not all educational institutions have shelters, what to do in such a case? I won’t have time to run to school to pick up my daughter, and during the alarm, the transport no longer runs,” he writes Valentina in VK on the Kursk Region government page.
Last spring, schoolchildren from Kursk and the region studied remotely. And they intended to go offline from the fall.
“Give some explanation as to what parents should do. If the children will study from home, how should we solve the issues with the employers? Let us also be transferred to remote work! Who will sit with the children at home?” – write in the comments.
However, even earlier, on August 3, the deputy governor of the region, Viktor Karamyshev, said that all schools have shelters. These are either “recessed rooms or windowless rooms with supporting walls”. That’s where the children will hide.
As for the village of Tyotkino, where there are regular gunfights and explosions, there is distance education.
“But Tyotkino has been almost empty for a long time. There are many damaged houses, people are leaving there. Although the authorities do not carry out any evacuations. They cannot officially admit that there is a war on the territory of the Russian Federation. Those who have relatives who are ready to give shelter, those they left a long time ago. Others, if they work, rent housing in Kursk or in nearby cities. Others sleep in basements, the management has no business with them,” said a relative of one of the residents of the village on condition of anonymity.

Also, local residents confirm that from many places where shelling is taking place, people leave, even leave Kursk, so as not to expose themselves to danger.
“But we, like the residents of Belgorod and the region, especially do not want to be resettled in other regions. As soon as the realtors find out that we are from the shelling zone, they immediately hang up. They are afraid that we will not be able to pay and it will be difficult to evict us. And the state will do nothing helps, no housing. Because everyone is hiding, because we only have SVO, not war,” complains a resident of the Kursk region.
The Russians are sure that there will be the same war zone on the border of the Kursk region as in the Belgorod region. And they fear that with the arrival of the military and the Kadirov army, looting will also flourish in this area.

What great news! A breach of the mafia border, drone strikes, and the ruskie sheep in panic. I love it!
The orcs are claiming the FSB repelled the attack. I don’t see those women and kid beaters repelling anything.
Orcs will claim anything to make themselves look less foolish and incompetent than they are.
Kursk should be smashed to bits.
PutinaZi savages deserve it. And a lot more of the same.
Couldn’t agree more.
