The Ukrainian minister also called on partners to strengthen assistance to Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba welcomed the adoption of a foreign aid package from the United States, which includes billions to purchase necessary weapons supplies for Ukraine. In turn, he called for strengthening international cooperation so that Kyiv could win the war against the Russian Federation and called Putin a “political animal,” writes Politico .

“What we really need is for our partners to firmly believe that Ukraine’s victory is achievable. And secondly, for there to be no fear of (Russian President Vladimir Putin), because Putin is a political animal who feels fear, and when he feels it, he becomes more aggressive,” the minister said in an interview with CNN .

During a conversation with CNN, Kuleba called Western aid to Ukraine an investment in global security and prosperity and noted that arms costs for Ukraine would be insignificant compared to future costs if the Russian army wins.

Also, one of the leading American generals noted for Politico that the Russian army is 15% larger than before the war. In addition, experts warned of a summer offensive that could lead to losses for Ukraine.

“It’s simple: if all these countries united around the goal of Ukraine’s victory, perhaps because they see that this victory is important, it is also a matter of their security and prosperity. And whatever the price of supporting Ukraine today, the price of fixing the world if Russia will win in Ukraine, it will be much, much higher,” the Ukrainian diplomat warned.

Politico recalled that just a few weeks ago, the Ukrainian authorities, including President Vladimir Zelensky, predicted a disaster without urgent help from Congress. With House Republicans stalling legislation for months, federal officials noted that Ukraine could lose its war with Russia within a year.

The publication added that after the adoption of the US aid bill, European partners are planning their next steps. Thus, Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas called on NATO allies to increase their defense spending to 2%.

At the same time, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that his country would send Ukraine an additional £500 million in military aid, as well as 400 vehicles and four million ammunition.

  1. To prevent further advances in Chasiv Yar and elsewhere, the allies simply must close Ukrainian skies.
But the fuckers would rather let putler filth murder more Ukrainians and steal more land.

    • Col. Richard Kemp wrote in the DT:

“While the new aid packages might allow attacks to be blunted, they will not enable Ukraine to seize the initiative and go back onto the offensive. One reason for this is that Russia has achieved air supremacy in many areas while ground based air defences will remain inadequate. Another is that a war-weary Ukraine simply doesn’t have enough troops and after more than two years hard fighting seems reluctant to launch the major mobilisation it needs.

The challenges ahead are almost insurmountable. Russia has a rapidly growing wartime economy and has now built up huge force levels that it is willing to sacrifice to achieve Putin’s goals. If Moscow is able to achieve significant success in the summer, perhaps including taking Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, there will be no appetite for more Western spending come the winter.”

      • We could go even bleaker and more negative with all of this.
Fact is, that mafia land hasn’t been able to gain more than a little here and a little there, despite having US arms supplies to Ukraine dried up since October. We’ll just wait and see what impact the new military deliveries and new mobilization law will have.
Thus, the fat lady hasn’t sung yet on this.

        • If Ukraine had listened to all these doom merchants, mafia land would be in Warsaw by now. Instead, mafia land are celebrating taking a village as though it’s the second Stalingrad.

  2. I wouldn’t call putler an animal. I can’t think of any animal that is evil. Monster, ghoul, zombie, flesh eating virus, bacteria, or ten pounds of shit in a five-pound bag would be better monikers.
