Kremlin reacts to non-recognition of Lukashenko’s presidency

According to Putin’s spokesman, such a reaction is contradictory to international law

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, said that the decisions of a number of countries not to recognize the legitimacy of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko were contrary to international law and did not promote dialogue between the states.

This was reported by Strana with reference to TASS.

We do not welcome such decisions that have been made by a number of European countries (which have not recognized Lukashenko as the legitimate president of Belarus – 112 International.). We believe that these decisions are contradictory to international law, these decisions certainly do not promote dialogue and, in fact, they are also should be considered as indirect interference in the country’s internal affairs,” Peskov said.

As we reported earlier, authorities of Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Estonia have not recognized Alexander Lukashenko as head of the Republic of Belarus

The European Union expects that the Belarusian authorities will restrain from any further repressions and violence aiming against Belarus and will release all detainees, including political prisoners.

So election fraud on a massive scale, and gross human rights violations are OK? As for interference, I suppose Muscovy sending in the propaganda crew, and little green men is not considered as interference?

  2. They enjoy talking bullshit, definitely. Luckily nobody gives a shit about Dimmy’s and Maria’s verbal diarrhea they serve us every day…

    • This is the same country that refused to recognise Poroshenko as leader of Ukraine, in a democratic election.

  3. Why do these morons always refer to some international law? They break any and all that stand in their way. They are a crime syndicate. Which mafiosi refers to any laws that other are supposedly breaking?
    It must be the krokodil.

  4. When you Rooski pigs get out of Crimea, the Donbas, Georgia, and Moldova, all of which you occupy in whole or part, in violation of international law, give me a call and we can talk about Belarus. Until then, all you should hear are crickets.
