I saw an interesting tweet today from Mike Johnson. “There’s many members of congress who want us to sanction Russia as strongly as we can, and I’m an advocate of that”
If this is true, things might start moving. Coincidentally, Yermak is on his way to the US today to talk about sanctions, defense and the war in general.
Johnson is another Ukraine flip-flopper like Graham, but if he (and they) really mean “as strongly as we can” that would definitely hurt the putinaZi war machine.
But I still wonder : when sanctioning huge shit countries like China and India, how do you enforce them?
China seems a lost cause, but India is so corrupt that it might be possible to turn that bastard Modi.
I don’t trust any of them in Congress anymore. It’s best not to think about it and get surprised.
Sanctioning China is a not actually problematic, since there are already tariffs and Chinese industry is in crisis. Whatever else Trump does, however absurd it may be, the war on Beijing’s military-industrial strategy … a true, eastern form of globalism not less dangerous to our freedom than the western form … is a good and necessary cause.
