For the first time, the Zalizna Brigade has published footage of a drone duel against russian bomber
Pilots of the Zalizna 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade have released rare footage showing the destruction of russian bomber with the help of an FPV drone. The video, published on the Brigade’s official channel on September 24, documents a unique engagement in which Ukrainian operators successfully outmaneuvered and neutralized an enemy bomber.
The Brigade noted that this is the first time they have shared such footage, calling it an example of a new type of duel, FPV drones versus russian bombers. According to their statement, the Crazy Cats group played a decisive role in the operation.

The released video shows the FPV drone pursuing russian bomber, which attempted to evade but ultimately failed. Within moments, the drone closed the distance and struck its target, leading to the bomber’s destruction.
The scene underscores how battlefield innovation continues to shift the balance of power in Ukraine’s favor.
At the end of the footage, additional aerial engagements are shown, recorded in the skies over Kharkiv region. These clips highlight the intensity of ongoing combat in the area and the increasing role of unmanned systems in both reconnaissance and direct strikes.
As Defense Express previously reported, Ukrainian long-range drones have delivered a powerful strike on the Molkino training ground in Krasnodar Krai, destroying six vehicles belonging to the Iskander short-range ballistic missile system. The attack, which took place in the latter part of August with the use of 14 drones, was documented by photos taken by russian troops themselves and later published by the Dosye Shpiona project.
The released images clearly show the charred remains of the MZKT-7930 vehicles, which serve as the backbone for most elements of the Iskander system. Among the wreckage, destroyed KamAZ-based vehicle can also be identified. In total, six MZKT-7930 and one KamAZ vehicles were destroyed, marking a serious loss for the russian military.

Great work by the Ukrainians. The West needs to wake up and observe what is going on with drone warfare. It’s no use building new tanks that won’t last 5 minutes on the battlefield.
