Trump’s special representative also announced “discussions” with both sides on the matter in the near future.

US President Donald Trump’s special representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg , said both countries would have to make concessions if they hoped to reach an agreement to resolve the war.

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already made it clear that he will soften his position on the territories. And (Russian leader Vladimir – UNIAN) Putin will also have to soften his positions. Over time, and probably in the near future, we will have discussions with everyone. And that is good for both sides,” Kellogg said in a television interview with Fox News, as quoted by the European bureau of Radio Liberty .

Kellogg also said Washington wants Ukraine to hold elections, possibly by the end of this year, especially if a ceasefire is reached.

Zelensky’s aide Dmitry Litvin said on February 2 that the Ukrainian side had not yet “seen Kellogg’s full interview, only a few quotes about the elections, so it is difficult to fully assess his position.”

GFY Kellogg. Ukraine have already paid a huge price in this war, and now you want to reward the vermin for breaking every international law in existence.

    • How in the hell does this flake know that it’ll be good for both sides? And, why should it be good for the criminal side?
Do we have only brainless morons in Washington anymore?
