On the night of August 4, Russian forces launched an airstrike with guided bombs on Sumy . The attack killed three people, including two children.

Rescuers unblocked the bodies of two girls, ages 5 and 10, from under the rubble of a destroyed house. An elderly woman also died.

Four more people sought medical attention and were diagnosed with acute stress reactions.

Six KABs hit the city

According to updated information, Russian troops dropped eight guided bombs on Sumy. Six of them hit civilian infrastructure in the city, causing significant damage to residential buildings and non-residential structures.

Two more aerial bombs, according to the Air Defense Forces, were shot down on their approach to populated areas.

Emergency services continue to work at the site of the strikes. Specialists are examining damaged buildings and eliminating the consequences of the Russian attack.

Konotop attacked by drone: residential building destroyed

On the night of August 4, a Russian drone hit a residential building in Konotop . The impact completely destroyed the home.

In addition to the destroyed house, several cars were damaged in the attack.

According to Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin, the owner of the house was previously injured. The woman was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

Medics provided the woman with the necessary assistance at the scene near the ambulance. There is currently no information about other victims.
