Russian occupiers struck Nikolaev, resulting in damage to the hotel building, the owners of which had just recovered after the 2022 arrivals. The head of the Nikolaev regional military administration, Vitaly Kim, announced this in his Telegram channel .

“On the morning of April 28, at 04:45, the enemy attacked the city with a UAV of the Shahed-131/136 type. As a result, the hotel building was severely damaged and a fire occurred, which was promptly extinguished. In another hotel nearby, windows were broken and cars were damaged. In addition, a heat generating infrastructure facility was damaged,” he wrote.

Subsequently, Kim reported that “the hotel owners have just recovered from the arrivals that took place in 2022.”

“Nearby there is a children’s sports school and a stadium. There are no military facilities. The historical part of the city. This is an attack on our business, on our economy. Fortunately, no one was hurt,” noted the head of the Regional State Administration.
