Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson promises to put the issue of funding aid to Ukraine to a vote after Congress returns from the Easter recess. This was announced by the Chairman of the Intelligence Committee of the US House of Representatives, Mike Turner, reports CBS News .
According to him, after returning to work, the issue of assistance to Kyiv will be first on the agenda.
“After we have passed all the bills that fund the federal government, I believe there will be overwhelming support in Congress and we will put the bill on the president’s desk,” Turner said.
As you know, the House of Representatives is due to return from the Easter recess on April 9.

Playing the Easter Bunny for 2 weeks is more important.
Yeah, right, Veth. If he was serious, he’d recall the House for an urgent vote on that bill on tuesday. Imho it’s rather obvious he simply wants to delay the issue another two weeks and then will come up with a new excuse. 🙄
Promises, shmomises – after the holidays, he’ll find a new excuse why it can’t happen, we can be almost certain of that. 🙄
The headline and the story don’t match. If the bill is to be tabled, it would be brought up for a vote.

Johnson has a lot of blood on his inactive hands. Pro life mockery. Religious fraud.
As with every proven liar who says something, I believe it only when I see it.
For Johnson, it was more important to seek Easter eggs with the kids in his idyllic garden than to help Ukrainian children to survive, who must seek bomb shelters.
