Jake Broe: Panic in the Kremlin as Russia’s Economy Begins to Implode

Kyiv Post

Russia is on the brink. With its economy in free fall and its military struggling on the battlefield, 72-year-old Vladimir Putin is running out of options. His allies are turning their backs, sanctions are tightening, and now even China and India are scaling back purchases of Russian oil, cutting off a critical lifeline.

At this point, Putin should be panicking—or is he being shielded from reality by his own advisers, setting the stage for a dramatic downfall?

In this exclusive interview with Kyiv Post’s Jason Smart, Jake Broe—a leading analyst of Russia’s war against Ukraine and a former U.S. Air Force Nuclear and Missile Operations Officer—breaks down the internal pressures that could push Russia toward a catastrophic defeat.

  1. “At this point, Putin should be panicking—or is he being shielded from reality by his own advisers, setting the stage for a dramatic downfall?”

Putler has always lived in an alternative universe.

    • If he ever watched the news he would see mafia land on fire, or do the TV companies never show the damage done by drone debris?

        • The MSM can’t report of missile attacks killing civilians, but the BBC found space to report on the trash that was liquidated in Moscow today.

          • Yes, that kind of news is news for everyone. A demolished apartment building with a dozen killed civilians is not news for them.

            • It makes you wonder what kind of agenda the MSM are on. Are they trying to give the impression that Ukraine are close to defeat, and that mafia land are marching forward heroically on day 1070 of their 3 day SMO?
