The American company Brown-Forman, one of the largest producers of alcoholic beverages in the world, is shutting down in Russia due to the invasion of Ukraine.

The relevant statement was published on the company’s social networks.

“Brown-Forman joins the world community in calling for peace and suspends commercial operations in Russia,” the statement said.

The company also maintains close ties with Ukrainian colleagues and promises to donate to charitable organizations that help Ukrainian children and provide medical care.
