The Hungarian Prime Minister again stated that he is against providing financial support to Ukraine.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said he received a letter from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen calling for continued financial support for Ukraine and brazenly commented on the matter on social media .

Orbán noted that the President of the European Commission indicated in a letter that Ukraine’s financial deficit is significant, so she asked the countries of the European Union to “allocate more money.”

“It’s astonishing. While it’s become clear that the military mafia is embezzling European taxpayers’ money, instead of demanding real oversight or suspending payments, the Commission President is proposing to send even more funds,” the Hungarian Prime Minister wrote.

At the same time, Orban compared aid to Ukraine to “trying to help an alcoholic by sending another case of vodka.”

“Hungary has not lost its common sense,” he wrote at the end of the post.

  1. Yawn. It’s no news, reporting what this fat, ugly toad has to say. It’s never positive, always full of hate and lies.
