It was hot in the sky of Ukraine and over the Black Sea: scouts, drones and tankers

Today in the airspace of Ukraine it was crowded with the aviation of the partner countries.

In the morning, two aircraft immediately delivered military assistance , and in the afternoon, reconnaissance aircraft monitored the borders of our country and the Black Sea expanses.

The Boeing RC-135V Rivet Joint was the first to take to the Black Sea sky from the Chania airbase on the island of Crete. He patrolled the coast of the occupied Crimea and the Kerch Strait to the Russian Sochi.

In the afternoon, an American Boeing RC-135V Rivet Joint, which came from the Mildenhall airbase, entered the airspace of Ukraine, in the Kovel region. The board patrolled along the line Poltava – Pavlograd – Tokmak – Nikolaev – Berezovka (Odessa region).

At noon, the latest American Northrop Grumman RQ-4D Phoenix drone flew over the western regions of Ukraine , taking off into the sky at the Sigonella airbase on the island of Sicily.

A little later, a Boeing RC-135V patrolling over the Black Sea in the morning replaced the Boeing E-8C Joint Stars control and target designation aircraft. Before starting the mission, he performed an in-flight refueling from an American Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker flying tanker that took off from Mildenhall Air Force Base in the UK.
