The woman believes that those responsible for this disaster will suffer the well-deserved punishment.

A Ukrainian woman with a three-year-old son escaped during the Russian attack on ” Okhmatdyt ” by hiding in the toilet.

As reported by Bild , 36-year-old Olena and her 3-year-old son were on the fifth floor of the surgical department during the attack. The woman heard the explosions and quickly realized that she had to hide in a room covered by walls as much as possible.

“The air alarm started, we were on the fifth floor of the surgical ward and went down the stairs. When the explosions started, I felt a wave, grabbed him and ran to where it was dark and many walls. He got scared and cried, I tried to distract him “, the woman said.

Mother and son hid in the toilet and waited until the explosions stopped. Elena felt another wave. Cabinets began to move, a window flew out.

“Everything happened next to us, it was a shock, but we didn’t panic. I’m not a bad person and I try to forgive, but it’s impossible to forgive. I want God to hear us and everyone gets what they deserve. I believe that God is and bad deeds return with a boomerang,” she said.

Svitlana Vodolaga, a representative of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, said that on Monday, explosions occurred in nine places in the capital. 29 Kyivans died, four of them children. 117 people were injured. The situation in Okhmatdyt is critical.

“One building was practically destroyed, others were damaged. We know that the hospital’s equipment was also damaged. The remaining medical equipment is now being taken away. The children have already been evacuated. We have already stopped work twice today due to the threat from the air. Drones were flying,” she said.

33-year-old volunteer Jack, who is helping to clear the debris, found a notebook of a child who was learning English among the debris.

“I don’t know, maybe she (the child – UNIAN) is still under the rubble. I really don’t know what to say. I have no words. This is a children’s hospital. There were children here with dreams of a better future. Children who were learning English. They were looking forward to a better life,” shared Jack.
