It is necessary to avoid war in Donbas, – Russia

However, Russia is not sure on the Ukrainian side

Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated the necessity to avoid war in Donbas. However, Moscow is not sure on the Ukrainian side as RIA-News reported.

Lavrov noted that it is possible and necessary to avoid war.

“If it depends on us and militia, as far as we understand their principal approaches, it is possible and necessary to avoid war,” he said.

Meanwhile, Lavrov noted that he cannot speak for the Ukrainian side and he even upbraided President Volodymyr Zelensky for his desire to hold on to power “at any cost”.

“If we speak for the Ukrainian side, the side of Zelensky, I cannot guess because according to the external features, the most important for him is to hold on to power. He is ready to pay any price, including pandering to neo-Nazi and far-right activists who declare Donbas militia terrorists,” Lavrov believes.

As we reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the meeting with the President of Russia will take place after all. He ordered the President’s Office to organize the meeting with Vladimir Putin. The aim of the meeting is to agree on the de-escalation of the Donbas Conflict.

Meanwhile, Kremlin stated that the possible meeting of the Presidents of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Volodymyr Zelensky and Volodymyr Putin, should not raise the issue of resolving the situation in Donbas.

Who cares what Lavrov believes? Just apply this statement to his boss, Russia’s head terrorist, and we are getting closer to the truth. BTW Lavrov, where have you been for 7 years? Did nobody tell you a war was going on in Ukraine, started by Putler?

    • You got this article from 112, F1? It is or was part of putler’s 5th column broadcasting in Ukraine. I thought it had been shut down? Are they still allowed to run an English language website?
Not good news, especially as those other purveyors of lies; Nash, are now up and running.
