It has become known who will head the US delegation to participate in the Crimean platform

The US presidential delegation for participation in the inaugural summit of the Crimean platform on where the occupation of the peninsula was headed by Energy Minister Jennifer Grenholm.

This is stated in a statement on the White House website .

“Today, President Joseph Biden announced the appointment of a presidential delegation to attend the Crimean Platform summit in Kyiv and events marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s independence on August 23-24,” the statement said.

In particular, the delegation will be headed by US Secretary of Energy Jennifer Grenholm.

The delegation included Chargé d’Affaires of the United States in Ukraine Christina Quinn and Assistant Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Andrew Light.  

Who will represent the United States on the Crimean platform

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Office of the President of Ukraine announced today that the United States of America may change its representative , who will arrive in Kyiv for the summit of the Crimean platform for deoccupation of the peninsula.

Earlier it was said that President  Joe Biden  will not come to Ukraine, but the United States will be represented at the Crimean Platform summit by Biden’s personal envoy, Transport Minister  Peter Buttige .

The inaugural summit of the Crimean Platform  with the participation of foreign leaders will take place on August 23 in Kyiv.
