There are 3 possible explanations (or a combination of them):
1. Krasnov
2. TACO
3. Dementia
(all augmented by extreme narcissism)
Don’t tell me I don’t understand something. Because all those arguments sound a lot like the old anecdote where a husband finds a naked man in the bedroom closet and says, “Again this damn uncertainty!”. It behaves like a duck, so it’s most likely (99.9%) a duck (I wanted to use a different 2nd letter, but I am making efforts to control myself after 2 sleepless nights of bombing)β¦
And the longer we pretend it is not how it looks, the worse.

Its not about Trump only, for some reason over last 150 years, USA is being backing up russia as empire, as soviet union as federation, helping it not to fall into pieces and collapse. Not advocating this ugly compromised red russian asset, but how did the previuos administration help us? First few months – observing, then huge talks, verbal threats, little military help. It could have ended from autumn-winter 2022 to early 2023 when after Kherson liberation, General Zaluzhny had a daring plan to make advance to Crimea, just needed some more military suppliesβ¦ russians were shocked, depressed, beggingβ¦ But instead – 6 month of no support, talks about nuclear threat β¦ Sullyvan & Burns undercarpet negotiations with russia. BETREYAL of Ukraine was always there, but with previous administration it was covered by words of support, meeting ets. Now its open & clear. We have to stop considering USA administration an ally. Need to seal new alliances with countries who know too well the weight of russian stinking boot on their throat.
Kenneth Mayfield
Did anyone see trump’s expression when he was told of russia’s barrage upon Ukraine during the G7? That says it all. In my opinion, that man is no friend of humanity, aligned with putin. His and putin’s game depends on people ignoring what they see and hear, and worse, convincing themselves that what they proclaim is truth and not a lie.
Roberto T.
Stop overthinking! Trump admires Putin not because of some mental illness (even though psychopathy can be considered as one of them), but because he aspires to become a dictator and he’s succeeding at it for now (I’m pretty sure this attempt isn’t going to end well for him, considering that the population is armed).
Andreas Spatzek
Point 1-3 – all totally correct. The man is a ruZZian agent and totally insane. And he has just begun, no chance of getting rid of him. All elections further will be faked and influenced – in ruZZian style. And the man has access to the red buttonβ¦.. everything is possible. A real nightmare, especially for Ukraine.

Ruslan Lytvynenko
Once upon a time, when I was in junior high school, we were forced to read the poem “Lenin and the Stovekeeper.” The result of this compulsion was a proverb that stuck well in the classroom: Every Lenin must have his own stovekeeper.

For those who think that the size of Russia is natural, look at this map. It screams merciless colonisation and destruction of ethnicities. Right now, there are over 65 endangered languages in Russia, and many hundreds are gone. And the process was even more cruel than in Americas where over 90% were killed by Eurasian viruses. Moskovians had to kill everyone manually with steel, as unlike Native Americans, locals were from the same continent and had immunity to diseases.
Most of Ukraine got under their occupation only in 1800ties, and before 1600 they controlled a very small part of it.. So if anyone tells you that “Ukraine is historically Russsian” show them this map. It is not. Like Finland and Poland, and many other countries never were, but got under their rule for some time. Their true historical lands are that black area around Moskow. And Moskow still treats other regions of Russia as colonies.
And it stops expanding only if stopped from the outside, if it meets a force that can oppose it. No negotiations, kind words, or understanding of Kremlin tsars stop the wars. They do it just because they can, not because they are “provoked” by NATO, Austro-Hungarian Empire, or whatever monster they may find under their beds. It’s their nature for over 6 centuries. And they won’t change.

Begs the question: why is RuZZia never content with what it has (had)? What is it in their psyche?
Volodymyr Kukharenko
Rob Powys-Smith I think it’s nomad mindset. They were mostly nomads 1000+ years ago, then they were conquered by empire of other nomads (1137). And this minset differed from mindset of farmers.
Farmer depends on land and goes nowhere, so he improves the area. His prosperity depends on hard work. Nomad relies on luck and raiding the neighbours. He does not stay in one place, so he does not care to develop it.
Russia is big, but outside Moskow area it’s poor, they do not care to develop it. Robbing neighbours and conquered nations is their way of prosperity.
Talha Waqar
Imagine if they started expansion from 1100AD!
Volodymyr Kukharenko
Talha Waqarπ They did not exist as a political entity in 1100. Russia started as Vladimir-Suzdal Duchy in 1125. Moskow was founded in 1147. And in 1169 they already raided and pillaged Kyiv. The most ancient holy icon of Russian Church was stolen in that raid.
Sam Satie Salman
I think they should retreat to pre 1600 borders.
Volodymyr Kukharenko
Sam Satie Salman πΊπ¦ “1500” area was Novgorod Republic. They sided with Grand Duchy of Lithuania (equivalent of EU of our time if we try to make an analogy). And needed their help, but did not get enough, and Moskovia butchered them. 90% of Novgorod city was killed. Later, Grand Duchy of Lithuania was destroyed too. With Ukraine, the pattern may be repeated if no action is taken.
Chris Windley
Exactly right β¦ google ” The Genocide of the Siberian Husky ” and the Chukchi People β¦β¦ but note Russians killed them with a combination of steel and disease and alcohol.
Volodymyr Kukharenko
Chris Windley Chukchi is not their self-identifier. Moskovians named them so. They self-identify using the word “Luoravetlan”, which translates roughly to βreal peopleβ or βgenuine personβ in their native language. Much like in many languages across the world, the self-identifier means “people”. E.g. “Deutchland” (Germany) means “land of people”. Ukraine means “country” in Ukrainian.
Col Gabriel
Spot on. Russia is the Moscow Empire. It’s nothing to do with landβ¦they have plenty of that, it’s about control and subjugation of people. They’re like bullies in the playground, they know they’re broken and only feel better when they hurt other people and take what they have. Just look at their core culture, it’s sick to the rotten core. They say they hate the West, yet wear clothing styles from here, listen to music styles from here, and watch films all based on those created from here. The only original thing they seem to be able to originally create is new levels of cruelty.

βIt would be useful to the Western world to realize that despite all the vicissitudes by which Russia has been afflicted since August 1939, the men in the Kremlin have never abandoned their faith in that program of territorial and political expansion which had once commended itself so strongly to Tsarist diplomatists.β [519]β β George F. Such peoples of the Scythian tribal union as the Antes and Sarmatians were the predecessors of the Slavs of Kievan Rus. Androphages and the Ugro-Finns who came from the Urals and Siberia are the predecessors of the population of the so-called Russia. Habits and customs have been preserved through centuries of history.https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=4111122749166884&set=a.1578835405728977
