On Tuesday, March 12, a few days before the presidential elections in Russia, the pro-Ukrainian volunteer groups of Russians “RDK”, “Russian Freedom Legion” and the “Siberia” battalion carried out limited cross-border incursions into the Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation. The Russians initially denied this information, but later announced that they had repelled the attacks.
They noted that they stopped the advance of volunteer battalions with the support of tanks, armored vehicles and drones near Odnorobovka, Kharkov region, and Nekhoteevka and Spodaryushino, Belgorod region. Analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War ( ISW ) drew attention to this.
It noted that it had previously observed reports that Russia was using conscripts to protect its border with Ukraine from limited incursions. Analysts say this is likely due to Russia’s reluctance to move forces far from the front line to other locations in Ukraine.
Russian “military bloggers” noted that the incursion occurred days before Russia’s March 17 presidential election and warned that there could be additional incursions in the coming days.
As OBOZ.UA reported:
– On the morning of March 12, the Legion “Freedom of Russia” reported crossing the Russian border. The volunteers said that they were going to liberate Russia from dictator Vladimir Putin and centimeter by centimeter they would take their land from the regime.
– Later, Russian volunteers announced that they had taken control of the village of Tetkino in the Kursk region. Russian servicemen fled from the village, abandoning their equipment, while at the same time the Russians left one of the Russian checkpoints on the border.
– The Main Intelligence Directorate reported that extremely active military operations continue on the territory of the Belgorod region.

Yeah, the daring action by the courageous volunteers should make Putin voters think twice. Quite obviously, their “strongman” actually made Russia weaker: The forces, once the pride of the nation, now consist of desperate mobiks and even convicts, in rusty old Soviet tanks. The borders are less secure since many neighbors turned to Nato for support. Not even the home turf is safe from invasion anymore. Not to start about the economy, which once again is producing arms instead of consumer products. And Russians aren’t welcome in many countries all around the world anymore, showing the damage to the international reputation of their nation. All thanks to Putin’s crazy delusions! Consequently, nobody in his right mind should vote for this failure of a president.
