This weekend has been nightmare for Israel. Absolutely inhuman actions from Hamas that cannot be justified by any “fight for freedom of Palestine”. This is not attacking and ambushing some Israel military units or police, and not accidental kills of civilians who were close to the fight with the army. It’s totally savage, intentional murder, rape, mutilation, and kidnapping of civilian people who were no threat to them. It’s crossing the line of humanity that cannot be reverted, there is no coming back to “normal” for those who did it.

When looking at the faces of Israeli children, young women, and whole families who became victims of this terrorist attack, I have flashbacks of what was happening here in Ukraine in Bucha. The same style, absolutely psychopathic actions done by a bunch of de-humanized savages pretending they have some high ideals.

I may not know much about the history of conflict, I understand it’s complicated and each side has its own truth, so there is only one criterion I judge the sides: the methods they use. And the word “civilized” is the absolute opposite to Hamas actions. It’s the absolute opposite of what Iranian regime is doing to its people, to what Russia is doing in Ukraine. And these things are connected. On the picture you see the leader of Hamas shaking hands with Sergei Lavrov, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs. Iran is helping both Russia and Hamas by supplying weapons and training troops. Russia has not condemned Hamas, they just “called for peace”, that phrase has become the euphemism of saying “we support the agressor”.

It’s time the world understands these are the pieces of the same picture and put efforts of stopping the terrorist states of Russia and Iran. Appeasement does not work, not understanding this may bring the war to your home no matter where you are.

A devastating attack on #Israel has shocked the world and happened for several reasons, including the #RussianWar in Ukraine. #Putin failed to open two fronts in Ukraine due to the hesitance of Belarussian leader Lukashenko. Throughout history, no country has ever won a two-front war, which the Russian dictator was trying to pursue. The Belarussian president realized, after three months of Russia’s unsuccessful invasion and the loss of the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, that it was not a good idea to go all in with Russia and become isolated from the world.

Well, Putin still wants to accomplish his goals, but in a slightly different way, by decreasing US aid to Ukraine. The Russian dictator and his government met with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas terrorist group, in Moscow on September 13 last year. Earlier, on July 19 in #Tehran, Putin met with Iranian and Turkish leaders aligned with the Hamas group to discuss supporting each other against the West.

Russia, #Syria, and Iran, who support Russian aggression in Ukraine, must have planned the attack on Gaza and agreed to launch it at a particular time. As we all know, US military and financial aid to Ukraine is under question and is going through turbulent times. According to the US government, Ukraine will have enough resources for a few months if it does not receive more assistance.

So, this was the perfect time to attack Israel and shift the US’ attention and support from Ukraine. Putin has achieved his goal to some extent. After the attack on Israel on October 7, US President Joe Biden approved an emergency military aid package to Israel worth $8B, while $6B in aid to Ukraine fell through the week before. Now we understand the war in Israel might affect US funding for Ukraine. Immediately after the Hamas attack, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, said that the US and its allies should “engage” in work on the “Palestinian-Israeli settlement” and not “interfere” in Russia’s affairs and continue providing Ukraine with military aid.

The world must unite and understand that terrorism is a lifestyle for some leaders, and they will never stop pursuing their barbaric dreams by killing thousands of innocent people. The wars will never end while these leaders exist.

  1. “The same style, absolutely psychopathic actions done by a bunch of de-humanized savages pretending they have some high ideals.”

Exactly. The pic at the bottom of the two OpEds illustrates this very well.

  2. News outlets are reporting that :

“Israel has formally declared war on Hamas, setting the stage for a major military operation in Gaza as fighting continues to rage on Israeli soil.”

Hamas is just a piss-ass izlamo-nazi murder gang. It is a proxy for putlerstan, Syria and Iran. Therefore Israel is at war with three terror regimes, not one terror group.
Israel should immediately apologize for its bogus even-handedness towards Ukraine and join the war on Ukraine’s side. Defeat for putler is defeat for the top terror gangs and terror regimes.

  3. “After the attack on Israel on October 7, US President Joe Biden approved an emergency military aid package to Israel worth $8B, while $6B in aid to Ukraine fell through the week before. Now we understand the war in Israel might affect US funding for Ukraine.”

Chilling. The MAGA fuckwits will support Biden in his efforts to help Israel, but they are happy for Ukrainians to be murdered in industrial quantities by the most savage regime in history.
As it happens, I’m a fan of Israel (or rather was until Netanyahu) and have visited several times. But Israel is very wealthy; with a GDP/capita that is one of the highest in the world. It doesn’t really need Biden’s $8 Bn, but Ukraine really does.

  4. I find the comparison to Bucha to be offensive. Although the actions of Hamas to date are reprehensible and evil, anyone seeing the genocide, mass killings, rapes and tortures that occurred in Bucha over those many months can’t possibly make such a comparison. Bucha stands alone in the world as the epitome of evil that vermin like the Russians can impose on human beings. No sir, not valid comparison to me

    Cлава Україні!
    Слава його героям!

    • The comparison is valid Cap. The izlamonazis are capable of the same savagery as the putinaZis: dismemberment, torture, mutilation, rape, child rape, granny rape etc.
We will no doubt see more horrific details in due course.
There was a video on YouTube a while back that was quickly taken down. But once seen, it can never be forgotten. It was security cam footage of a Pali woman ambling down the street. She gets near to an IDF soldier who is relaxing with a smoke.
Suddenly: STAB, STAB, STAB….. 15 or 20 times in rapid staccato. In 2 seconds she took out a wicked blade and just kept going until her victim was dead.
Anyone capable of that is capable of anything.

      • I prefaced my comment by saying “to date.” I don’t disagree but to ASSUME the travesties for purposes of pushing a narrative is not the same as ACTUALLY happening. When it happens then I’ll accept the comparison but not for purposes of a journalist getting out an alarming narrative

        • I think you are unaware of the amount of atrocities.
He’s not a journalist. He’s a Ukrainian businessman. He has seen the videos posted by Hamas degenerates of them doing unspeakable things like taking it in turns to spit on the body of a young woman they had raped, tortured and murdered. The evidence is already enormous. The number of murders and kidnaps of innocent civilians is already huge, after only a couple of days.
The Israelis will be able to put a stop to this because they have modern jets and electronic warfare capabilities comparable to the US.
Another LinkedIn commenter; Yana Rudenko, is actually from Bucha and makes the same comparison. If you revisit what Volodymyr wrote, you can see that he is passionately pro-Ukraine; one of the best contributors. Far more effective in fact than the professional journalists who take pride in remaining aloof.
You are indulging in friendly fire.

    • I don’t believe the attack on Israel and what happened in Bucha are comparable either. In hamas’ case the majority of hostages being taken are for collateral or human shields. Some appeared in footage showing them having bathroom access, food, bottled water, mattresses, or being able to sit on a couch. While rashists gave none of these needs/luxuries.

Both cases are deplorable and those whom experienced it first hand certainly come up with some similar examples of the brutality and inhumanity inflicted on others.

One case I know of from what hamas is doing is the way the daughter of a tattoo artist was treated. Raped or not I hadn’t heard confirmation, but she was brutalized till death and they still beat and dragged her body around gaza after she was dead.

Both rashists and hamas are terrorists hell bent on genocide.

  5. Flashbacks, yes, but Bucha was worse simply because it lasted longer, which extended the horrors the people had to endure.

    • There is hardly anything we can imagine that is worse than Bucha. Except for the fear of horrors still to uncover when the fiends are removed from Ukraine. And similar horrors to be uncovered after the end of Israel’s pending invasion of Gaza.
We know all about izlamonazis and the evil they are capable of from what isis did to Yazidi women and girls in Iraq. It was indescribable.
So yes, the writer was hit by flashbacks from Bucha, but was not seeking to make any direct comparisons with anything else.
