Quote: “During the meeting, the ambassador expressed his gratitude to the deputy minister for her proposal to transfer to Ukraine Russian-made weapons seized by the IDF in Lebanon or elsewhere from Israel’s enemies. It was noted that this initiative represents an important step in recognising the common threats faced by both countries. The Ukrainian side expressed hope for a positive resolution of this matter.”
Details: The two officials also discussed current shared challenges, including military cooperation between Iran and Russia, which poses a threat to the national security of both Ukraine and Israel.

After the inauguration of the orange catastrophe, it’s nice to gain a friend, especially one like Israel.
Are they trying to conform to well-known stereotypes?
It certainly would appear so.
After three years of horror, the country with the only elected Jewish leader outside Israel is offered some old ruZZian junk?
Cheap bastards.
FFS give Ukraine some modern air defence, modern rocket systems and artillery.
Maybe this is just a start.
To be fair, Israel is surrounded by enemies, and needs to keep themselves well-armed.
Giving russian stuff to Ukraine makes sense, since the Ukrainians are probably well familiar with how to use it. As for “old ruZZian junk” – it’s probably newer than the WWII junk that russia is currently fielding. And what’s shown in the following article is “modern Kornet anti-tank missiles”, not “old junk”.
