Incoming U.S. president Donald Trump has promised to end the Ukraine-Russia war within 24 hours. Kyiv Independent’s Daria Shulzhenko asks Ukrainians on the streets of Kyiv if they think a peace deal with Russia is possible and under what conditions.

  1. The guy from the rock band has it exactly right.
    Also, at the 4.12 point, another guy references South Korea, which hosts 35,000 U.S. troops protecting a much smaller border. Now Trump wants them to pay for that and why not? But he doesn’t say he’s going to withdraw.
    Why is it that the US and U.K. were prepared to do everything possible to prevent a Red takeover and preserve the democratic state of SK, yet will do next to nothing to preserve Ukrainian statehood despite signing a document that was supposed to do precisely that?
    And why doesn’t SK send weapons and troops to Ukraine to offset the invasion of filthy norks? In fact they should be forced to IMO.
