The city of Irpin, Kiev region, was liberated from the invaders.

Mayor Alexander Markushin spoke about the release of Irpin.

“Our Irpen has been liberated from Moscow evil spirits!!! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to its defenders! Eternal memory to the fallen Heroes!” – said the head of the city.

The official added that the cleansing of the city is now underway.

“We are gaining a foothold on our new frontiers and will continue to go and liberate Bucha, Gostomel, Vorzel. We understand that there will be more attacks on our city, and we will courageously defend it. Irpen is Ukraine,” Markushin stressed.

Recall that at the beginning of February 24, Russian troops invaded the territory of Ukraine .
