Iran is preparing to deliver to Russia in the near future launchers for Fath-360 short-range ballistic missiles, which, according to the United States, Tehran sent to Moscow last year for the war against Ukraine.

This was reported by Reuters with reference to sources, Censor.NET reports .
It is noted that the supply of launchers for the Fath-360 – if it takes place – will help support Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and confirm the deepening of security ties between Moscow and Tehran.
According to analysts, the Fath-360, with a range of 75 miles (120 km), will give Russian forces a new weapon for shelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front, nearby military facilities, and settlements located near the border with Russia.
Last September, the US said Iran had delivered missiles to Russia on nine Russian-flagged ships – which was authorised – and three sources told Reuters that the launchers were not included.
Western security officials and a regional official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the delivery of the Fath-360 launchers was imminent.
U.S. Army General Christopher Cavoli, commander of U.S. Central Command, told U.S. lawmakers last month that Iran had transferred more than 400 short-range ballistic missiles to Russia.

Caspian Sea intelligence could be critical, if there is a reliable way to sink transports before they make it to mordor. Of course if transporting by air that would be another challenge altogether which highest probability of success would be via sabotage.
