Iran accuses US of violating terms before talks start

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf said that the US violated some of the agreements even before the start of the negotiation process.

According to him, these are three of the ten points of the framework agreement that Tehran has identified as the basis for a possible end to the conflict, according to Ghalibaf’s statement on the X social network, as well as in the AP publication.

“The ceasefire and negotiations with the US are meaningless,” Ghalibaf stressed, explaining this by the fact that Washington, in his opinion, has already departed from the agreed terms.

Among the violations, he named the continued attacks on Lebanon, the penetration of a drone into Iranian airspace, as well as the position of the Donald Trump administration on the ban on Iran enriching uranium.

At the same time, Ghalibaf recalled that earlier Trump on his social network recognized the Iranian 10-point plan as the basis for negotiations. However, according to the speaker, these agreements were violated even before the actual start of the dialogue.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 8, President Trump said that he had decided to postpone “devastating” strikes on Iran, since Tehran agreed to unblock shipping in the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the achievement of a two-week truce with Iran. For this period, Tehran will open the strait to shipping, but the movement of vessels will be carried out only in coordination with the Iranian military. But in the evening, Iran threatened to withdraw from the agreement if Israel continued to attack Lebanon.

  1. Killing more than 200 pro-iranians, including women and children, during the first day of a ceasefire was a really smart move by iZrael. Now the straight is closed again and negotiatons fucked up. FUBAR!

  2. Iran” literally translates to “Land of the Aryans” (from Aryānām), reflecting its history as the home to Indo-Iranian tribes who migrated to the plateau around 2000 BCE. These Aryan tribes, a branch of the Indo-European family, established major empires and used “Aryan” to signify their noble lineage, culture, and linguistic identity.
