The investigative group Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT) on May 23 confirmed that a Ukrainian missile attack four days earlier hit a Cyclone missile carrier ship belonging to Russia’s Black Sea fleet in Crimea, after which the vessel sank. CIT did not specify how seriously the vessel was damaged. The Karakurt-class corvette joined the fleet six months earlier. Russia has not confirmed the loss of the vessel and no information has been made public about possible casualties among the ship’s crew. Since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, several Russian military vessels have been damaged or destroyed by Ukrainian attacks. If it sank, I would say the damage was quite serious. Where do they find these journalists from? I’m sure RFL can do better than this.
This seems to be a problem at CIT. Those analysts conclude that the ship must have sunk, most probably in that harbor, but won’t specify the seriousness of the damage? That’s ridiculous. 😁
“Russia has not confirmed the loss of the vessel”
Of course not. The orc navy insists that that ship is still moored at a quay in harbor. Just a bit lower in the water as before. 😁
Yeah, it went snorkelling. 😂
