“Inhuman atrocity”: the occupiers cut off the head of a fallen soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kurshchyna

The Ukrainian ombudsman has already informed international bodies about the actions of the Russians.

The Russian occupiers have committed a new war crime that shocks with its barbarism. A video appeared on the Internet in which the Russians show the severed head of a killed Ukrainian soldier.

According to preliminary information, the video was shot in the area of the Kolotilovka border crossing in the Belgorod region on August 12. According to Russian data, which is confirmed by Ukrainian military telegram channels, the crime was committed by soldiers of the 155th brigade of the naval brigade of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Federation. Apparently, the dead soldier’s head was cut off, not the captured one’s.

Dmytro Lubinets, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, said that he had already appealed to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross regarding this event.

“The enemy uses such videos to intimidate and demoralize Ukrainians. However, this only strengthens our desire to bring everyone who commits such inhuman atrocities to inevitable responsibility!” – he wrote in his Telegram.
