The Indian Petroleum Corporation (IOC) has excluded several high-sulfur oils from its latest tender, including Russia’s Urals.

This was reported by Reuters , citing sources.

According to the interlocutors, the leading Indian oil refining company informed market participants that Das, Eugene Island, Thunder Horse and Urals oil is no longer included in the list of brands in its latest tender, which closes on April 12.

The day before, US President Joe Biden told Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that buying more oil from Russia was not in India’s interests and could hamper the US response to Russia’s war against Ukraine.

This week, the IOC is holding two tenders for shipments in May-June.

In previous tenders, the IOC purchased 6 million barrels of Russian Urals oil for loading in May. Джерело: https://biz.censor.net/n3333449
