In particular, four Su-30 multirole fighters were damaged.

During an attack on April 5, drones of the Main Intelligence Directorate damaged seven Russian aircraft at an airfield in the Russian Yeisk, writes Ukrayinska Pravda, citing an interlocutor in the Main Intelligence Directorate.

It is noted that updated data has emerged regarding the strike of Ukrainian state control drones on a military airfield in the Russian Yeisk. According to them, on April 5, the airfield was attacked by Ukrainian UAVs.

As a result of the attack, seven Russian aircraft were hit with varying degrees of damage. Of these, four are Su-30 multirole fighters, two military transport aircraft and a Be-200 amphibious aircraft. The airport’s diesel substation was also destroyed.

Ukrainian drone attacks

On the morning of April 5, thanks to a joint operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, three military airfields on Russian territory were hit by drones . It was then noted that in Yeisk two Su-25s were completely destroyed and 4 soldiers of the enemy army were killed.

UNIAN previously reported that if the damage to three Tu-95MS strategic bombers at the Engels-2 airfield by Ukrainian UAVs is confirmed, then it can be argued that Russia has already lost about 5% of these aircraft. This is a “noticeable loss” for the aggressor.

  1. There must be a conversion plan, to be found in the internet somewhere, about how to turn a car into a drone. The central part seems to be the power steering. 😈
