In Ukraine since the beginning of the year, 653 shipments of humanitarian aid disappeared and did not reach the military

Since the beginning of 2023, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have not received 653 consignments of goods, which, when imported into the country, were declared as humanitarian aid for the military.

This was reported in the State Customs Service of Ukraine, noting that among these goods are plates for body armor, night vision devices, thermal imagers, drones and cars.

Losses were identified during the checks that the State Border Service conducts together with customs.

For the five months of 2023, the customs drew up 115 protocols on violations when importing goods as humanitarian aid.

“We remind you that the import of commercial goods under the guise of humanitarian aid is a violation of the current legislation and provides for liability,” the border guards say.

    • Sounds like classification, but seems like there’s more to this than what’s being suggested. Humanitarian aid does not include weapons and such. Makes you wonder why is this even in the news, like why hasn’t these shipments been reprocessed & delivered correctly in the end? Hate to say it, but sounds like an inside job of a scam. Who knows maybe they were labeled correctly & customs agent sold them to whoever. Or maybe there wasn’t any weapons or etc just humanitarian goods & they just said it wasn’t & sold whatever to whoever. I just read Ukraine is the 2nd most corrupt country in Europe. As a U.S. citizen this really isn’t good at all for how much our taxes are possibly being stolen by a few corrupt ppl. I hope Zelensky fixes this shit asap or why bother with the F16 deliveries & training

  1. Nothing can be more damaging to people’s and governments’ will to donate to Ukraine than this sort of shit. This must be cleared up ASAP!
