In Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel of the Russian Army Georgy Petrunin was liquidated. He was the military commandant of Samara and had combat experience in Chechnya and Syria.

This is reported by the international volunteer community  InformNapalm and Russian propaganda publications.

“The military commandant of Samara, Lieutenant Colonel Georgy Petrunin, returned as a cargo of 200 from Ukraine,” the message says.

At the same time, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports that the invader died at the end of March, and was buried on April 5 in Volgograd. The publication clarified that Petrunin “passed through Chechnya and Syria, but died in Ukraine.

Recall that earlier Ukraine liquidated another commander of a motorized rifle battalion of the Russian Federation. This time the “fate of the occupier” overtook Major Ruslan Petrukhin.
