A shipbuilding plant in Turkey has begun assembling an Ada corvette hull for the Ukrainian Navy.
The People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Igor Kopytin, told the online publication “Crime. The People’s Deputy said that 15 of the 27 blocks of the future building have already been installed.
“A corvette for our Navy is being built as quickly as possible. Of the 27 blocks, 15 are already welded to the body. The Turkish side is working very fast, so I think they will finish part of their work ahead of schedule, after which the corvette will be transported to Ukraine, we will already finish it. Today I am fighting to complete the corvette in Mykolayiv, “Kopytin said.
Igor Kopytin noted that judging by the pace of construction, Turkish workers will finish their work earlier. In the future, the corvette will be completed in Ukraine, but where exactly is unknown, – said the People’s Deputy.
