Tens of millions of Americans voted for President Trump because they were deeply concerned about the weaponization of government. They felt embarrassed by the Biden administration’s lack of transparency on ethical issues and the cognitive decline of the president. Trump officials—Tulsi Gabbard, Marco Rubio, and Pete Hegseth—as well as President Trump himself, demanded transparency and accountability. They promised that a second Trump administration would be different. They pledged a new era in which Americans would no longer be humiliated by their leaders’ incompetence and lack of transparency.

Enter Signalgate—the largest intelligence and security leak at the Executive Branch level in U.S. history. Once again, American leadership has become the laughingstock of our enemies. Our historic allies have yet another reason to pull back from information sharing. More importantly, the entire U.S. military is threatened with a confidence crisis over the cavalier approach to security and the lives of American service men. The message of “do as I say, not as I do” has been clearly sent to more than 2 million American service members.

But rather than offering transparency, accountability, and humility, the Trump administration has responded with world-class name-calling, projection, and stonewalling—all while facing possible violations of the Espionage Act, perjury before Congress, and serious security breaches. Those who dare to ask questions are berated, accused, and vilified.

In sum, they have become the very enemy they promised to defeat:

  • Incompetent
  • An embarrassment to the nation
  • Lacking in transparency
  • Engaging in name-calling and projection

Making matters worse, the sheer incompetence and juvenile behavior displayed in the Signal chat leak reveal a leadership that detests our longstanding allies and seeks to extort and punish them. At the same time, they are suspending vital programs and degrading American intelligence capabilities that protect America from Russian spying and crimes.

And then, there is the unprecedented foreign policy shift:

  • Whitewashing the Kremlin’s war crimes
  • Rewriting the history of Russia’s invasion
  • Betraying our allies in Ukraine
  • Handing out golden visas to Russian oligarchs
  • Crafting a new tripartite world order between once freedom-loving America, Soviet-revivalist Russia, and Communist China

She may not have been one of the 12 White House officials on the Signal chain, but Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has become the frothing-at-the-mouth mascot of the administration. A self-acknowledged former QAnon devotee, Congress’s leading opponent of Ukraine, and the girlfriend of a cross-dressing reporter who berated President Zelensky for wearing military clothing to the Oval Office while his nation is at war, Greene’s has a reputation for genuinely vile behavior.

She is to Republican leadership what Dmitry Medvedev is to Putin—an individual who spews absurdity and hatred at every opportunity. Today’s performance was no exception. In a bombastic attempt to delegitimize scrutiny over Signalgate, Congresswoman Greene wagged her finger at and verbally abused a reporter from Sky News and demanded that she silence herself and leave the United States immediately

The video above contains my commentary on the Grene incident and they Sky news recording of the incident.

If there were a gold medal for backslapping and arrogance, it would surely go to the current inhabitants of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. They remind us daily that they are the best in the world, that no one has ever been better, that all problems have been caused by others, and that they alone can solve the world’s crises.

According to them:

  • Our allies are “ungrateful” scum—”pathetic” and “freeloaders.”
  • Everything the White House touches results in unprecedented success.
  • Questioning them in any way means you must be immediately discredited as an individual.

Is there a silver lining for average Americans who believe in freedom and wish to rise above the incessant partisan bickering of the last umpteen years?

Yes, it is found in the words of Solomon: “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.”

For all the projection, bluff and bluster, it is precisely the absence of humility in this moment of shame, that will be the undoing of those in the Administration who are not willing to take meaningful responsibility (not the phony baloney kind the Administration is selling) for this catastrophe.

Message to the White House – There is still time to correct course and humbly put things in order, but presently the primary emphasis is on shooting the messenger. And the more you deny that the leaked information should have been classified, the more the world will not believe you today, or in the future.

  1. Moscow Marge “is to Republican leadership what Dmitry Medvedev is to Putin—an individual who spews absurdity and hatred at every opportunity.”

Has any more evil and poisonous creature ever been elected to Congress?

  2. Trump, his cabinet, and the entire maga movement smells like Adolf Hitler and his rise to power.
