Maksym Kutsyi checked the completion of works on the 8-kilometer section of the R-33 highway, which connects six districts of Odesa region. According to the head of the regional state administration, capital repairs of the road were carried out within the framework of the presidential program “Big construction”.

“This section of the road near the city of Rozdilna has not been repaired for decades, it was almost impossible to drive on it by car. Without exaggeration, drivers had to drive through fields to avoid deep pits.

Since the beginning of this year, major repairs have been carried out here: high-quality asphalt and a strong lower reinforcing layer have been laid, and bright markings have been applied. The Highway Service gives a 10-year warranty on the work performed, “said Maksym Kutsyi.

Within the framework of the presidential program “Large Construction”, 60 million hryvnias were allocated for the repair of the site. However, work on the R-33 highway is not completed. Major repairs are underway on the section from Balta to Podilsk and from Zakharivka to Podilsk.

Another 7 sections of this road are currently under public procurement. In total, by the end of 2021, it is planned to repair 112 kilometers of the R-33 highway.
