Part of the group of Russian Nazis, which tried to attack the capital of Ukraine from the northwest, is practically surrounded.
This was reported to Dumskaya by sources in the Active Army and confirmed in the Buchansk City Council.

According to the latter, the Armed Forces of Ukraine encircled the Russians in Irpin, Bucha and Gostomel.
Most of Irpen has already been liberated by Ukrainian defenders, now the city is being cleared of the remnants of the invaders.
An important factor contributing to the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was the undermining of the dam at the confluence of the Irpen River into the Kiev reservoir (Kozarovichi district). This led to the flood of the river right up to Demidov and the blocking of two important roads leading to the capital.
