In the occupied town. In the Lower Serogozy in the Kherson region , the Buryats drive people out of their houses and apartments and move into them.

This was reported on Facebook by the police of the Kherson region.

“There are reports from the temporarily occupied village of Nizhniye Serogozy that the Russian military (Buriats by nationality) are moving into houses and apartments, driving their owners out into the street under the threat of using weapons. They take away the keys to the apartments from people and declare that they no longer own housing “, the message says.

It is also noted that the police yesterday opened 22 criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes of the Russian army in the Kherson region. All cases started under Art. 438 “violation of the laws and customs of war” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

    • One would think that Buryats, who tend to be either Tibetan Buddhists or Teng-grists, would have a far greater reverence for other lives than the typical vodka-worshipping Russian.
But Rubles, the last thought in dying Russian minds are apparently the holiest “way to vodka nirvana.”

It is cold, but tending to be 20C warmer than Buryatia.

It is also true that vermin care not who they bite, so long as blood can be sucked.

      • I don’t know if they don’t care. Russian soldiers are under under gunpoint too.

Although I am not convinced there is a lot of humanity among them.

        • WE, like other obligate social animals, when subjected to threats we recognize as strong, CAN respond by depression and submission. A high proportion of the two other species of social primates, AND of experimental populations of rodents caged from escape, show this behavior.
This submission , with its attendant sudden violence toward others gauged as “safe” to violate, is an artifact of populations unable to disperse.
The dispersal option, taken by many humans worldwide, isn’t available to those who fear to explore.
Mongolia, a free society, has openly stated that Buryats are welcome relatives.
It is a CHOICE to feel sorry for oneself and slug down alcohol and other drugs. It is a CHOICE of individuals, to join coalitions to do violence to the vulnerable.
ALL Russia has largely CHOSEN to vicariously JOIN the venomous but pitiful Kremlin gang, delude by belief that it is their best, or only, choice.

THIS results in the toxic culture you observe, with its lies, its exteriorization of responsibiity, its CHOICE of acting in a poisonous manner.

(originally I referrred only to Buryats due to some familiarity of their original indigenous culture, abandoned for the “joys” of Russian urban life.)

Individuality is the necessary product of biological life.
Sociality is normally such a good survival mechanism that humans, for example, are profoundly hormonally stimulated to joy and affection by affiliation.

Both our delusion developed by the imagination that “society is all, individual is nothing” , AND consequent learned helplessness, lead to the toxic behaviors now so well illustrated in Russian mobik behaviors, as well as Russian FSB tortures and executions, and that grubby little group of dimwitted elderly men in Kremlin.

Can you imagine being in control of 140 million people, and remaining so terrified that all you can think to do is to lash out venomously against all outside of your massive demesne?
For THAT is the impulse to which al there and all who desperately imagine their lives as surrounded by inimical ghosts [of your own imagination], succumb.
