This was announced by the speaker of the operational command “Pivden” Vladislav Nazarov, commenting on the situation as of 13:00.

Nazarov noted that the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue positional battles and methodically inflict losses on the enemy in logistics and management activities, which significantly demoralize the personnel of the occupying forces.

“Our missile and artillery units have worked out the fire destruction of areas where the enemy’s manpower, weapons, military equipment and command posts are concentrated. When the enemy tries to establish an alternative crossing in the area of ​​Hola Pristan (Kherson region – UNIAN), a barge with invaders and military equipment on board was destroyed. Firing control of the Kakhovka bridge does not allow the enemy to carry out repairs,” Nazarov said.

The speaker recalled that when trying to attack the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, an attack enemy helicopter K-52 was shot down by air defense forces.

“The enemy’s stocks of ammunition have been reduced by one more warehouse in the Berislav region,” he said.

At the same time, the enemy is trying to hold the occupied lines, inflicting rocket-artillery and air strikes, both on the positions of the Defense Forces and on peaceful settlements.

Nazarov recalled that during the night the Berislavsky district of the Kherson region was fired from heavy artillery, 5 missiles of the Smerch multiple launch rocket system were fired at open areas in the Bashtansky district of the Nikolaev region.

He added that the ship grouping of the enemy in the Black Sea is in constant readiness for the use of 16 Caliber cruise missiles.

Recall, the Russian invaders broke into Ukraine early in the morning on February 24. Opponents, in particular, managed to take control of Kherson. The Armed Forces of Ukraine give a worthy rebuff to the opponents, a number of bridges near Kherson were put out of action.

At the end of August, it became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region began counter-offensive operations, the enemy was suffering serious losses. On September 6, the operational command “Pivden” reported that  35 opponents and four enemy infantry fighting vehicles were destroyed in the south of our country .
